Kevin Smith is the CEO and a Director for Launch Portal. Mr. Smith is a Canadian Entrepreneur with experience in a host of industries including Real Estate, Technology and Mining. Kevin's strength is assisting new companies with structuring, financing and building growth strategies to take their business to the next level. Outside of his role with Launch Crowdfunding, Kevin maintains a consulting firm that provides guidance and support to private and publicly listed companies in both Canada and the United States.

All investor funds are held separately from LaunchPortal's operating funds in a segregated trust account at a Canadian financial institution, as required under NI 45-110.

Canadian Financial Institution

If Launch Crowdfunding Corp. makes a general assignment for creditors benefit, commences bankruptcy or insolvency proceedings, or discontinues operations, it will notify all affected investors, issuers, and the relevant provincial securities commissions within two business days. All investor funds held in trust will be refunded within five business days if the applicable minimum funding thresholds for any active campaign have not been reached. If minimum thresholds have been met, Launch will facilitate security issuance to investors and release funds to the respective issuer.
